Mercado de la boqueria
Barcelona is probably the first Spanish town that comes to your mind. And it will come with Art, Gaudi, Dali, etc and also with food and wine. The beautiful Boqueria Market, red wines from Priorat and sparkling wine from Penedes. All this, can and should be combined here, the Modernistic architecture by Gaudi, with a great paella or fideua (like a paella made with pasta), an excursion to bubbly Penedes wine country with a visit to Montserrat Abby, or a trip to Priorat to discover the fantastic red wine and the Siurana olive oil that uses the arbequina olive variety.

North of Barcelona is Costa Brava, Amporda wine region, and pretty villages, together with the Dali route including his Museum in Figueras and Gerona, a city with an amazing Jewish heritage.  Also the best restaurant on the world and some more with Michelin stars.

Barcelona is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Spain, and it is the capital of Catalonia, one of the regions with more wine denominations of origin. Here you can find the beach and the Pyrenees Mountains and everything in between.
