Originally
a 14th Century Dominican Monastery, this five
star Wine Hotel enjoys breath taking views of
the surrounding ecological vineyard and river
Tormes which flows beneath its foundations.

It also houses the aging cellar of Bodegas Durius.

Aging
cellar Durius. Built
in 1843 as a warehouse for the flour mill of the Solís
family, since 2001, it houses over 1500 oak casks where
the Durius label Hacienda Zorita wines are matured. This
traditional cellar also comprises a tasting room with audiovisuals,
allowing us to conduct interactive tastings, which are a
must for the wine lover!. The cover looks like a ship, as
a tribute to Christopher Columbus, it's most distinguished
visitor.
Over
3 hectares of ecological vineyards surround the place. You
can find there four sequoias that are the oldest in Europe.
San
Nicolás de las Viñas Chapel.
In its interior, there is a Collection of religious artwork
and documents, all of which have Dominican influence, dating
from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries as well as a small
cellar that keeps 180 new French oak casks (Allier). Here
the best wines from our vineyards in Arribes del Duero age,
Durius Magíster, Duero's Soul, Premium Wine of
the Hacienda.
WINE
SPA. The
old Arabic Mill from the 15th century is today a wonderful
Wine Spa with privileged views over the river. There you
can enjoy the other qualities of wine with massages or
therapeutic baths using grape components.
You
can come and stay in Hacienda Zorita, or just to visit
the winery, the tour includes a visit to the cellars,
an interactive tasting, background to the history of the
Hacienda, visit to the Chapel of St Nicolas and it’s
collection of 16th, 17th & 18th century art.
The whole complex has
been carefully designed and prepared, to create a dedicated
centre of excellence for Durius wines and cultural aspects
of the region. Not only will guests be able to experience
the joys of wine and its making, but also be able to stay
in a unique, luxurious, yet tranquil setting, where their

The Nobel village of Ledesma is the gateway to the Arribes
del Duero Natural Park and wine region. Here, nestled in
between the town’s narrow streets, lies Casa de Padua,
the unique 18th Century Wine Hotel Family Trust, complete
with residential rooms. Casa de Padua
was founded in 1751 and is now home to a special ageing
cellar for Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars made following
traditional recipes of the Veneto. The Acetaia, where
our balsamic vinegar is aged, is the first of its kind in
Spain.
You
can visit the place, tour the chapel and cellars and follow
with an Olive Oil tasting. Or you can try our exquisite
olive oils and fine wines in a private dinner in this tranquil
village retreat. Soon there will be ten new rooms hear as
well.
