The Mas Collet Hotel is located at the heart of the region known as El Priorat, just 3 kilometres from the town of Capanes and 7 from Falset. Capanes is a municipality with 450 inhabitants located in a valley safeguarded by the Sierra de La Espasa, and the mountain peaks of Picotxa and Montalt.
El Priorato
The El Priorat region, with a surface area of 517.31 km2, is located at the centre of the province of Tarragona, bordering on the regions of Les Garrigues, La Conca de Barber, El Baix Camp and Ribera d’Ebre.
The exceptional climate and soil conditions have allowed vine and olive cultivation to develop, giving rise to wines with an enormous character. Thanks to their predecessors, most of them are exported and known worldwide.
At a distance of less the one half-hour from our Hotel, you can enjoy a wide range of activities, including golf courses, spectacular beaches, important cultural heritage sites, theme parks (Port Aventura), and more.
