Tradición

The Gulbenzu familiy has been making wine all their life. Now they have three wineries: one in Cascante, Navarra over 150 year old, another modern one only 10 Km away from Cascante, in Vierlas, Aragon and the last one in Chile. You can visit the wineries in Cascnate and Vierlas since they are so close by enjoy the contrast between them, and their great hospitality.

They have cultivated their vineyards since 5 generations, and during more than 150 years. Julio Guelbenzu Romano,taught his eight children to love and respect the land inherited from their ancestors.For more than 25 years he guided the families country estate (including the wine cellar). Thanks to his enthusiasm and good advices he has been decisive for the re-launch of Bodegas Guelbenzu.

Bodegas Guelbenzu, has two wineries, one in Navarra y the other one in Aragón, just 10 km apart. 

• Guelbenzu Cascante - tradition since 1851. Situated in a lovely environment, it is a winery from the 19th century surrounded by the garden (el jardín) and the family house of the Guelbenzu, andproudly conserved during five generations.

• Guelbenzu Vierlas innovation since 2001. Representing the new reality of Guelbenzu, situated in an exceptional environment our modern estate has a length of 2 km and a width of 300 meters, bordered by `la Vía Verde del Tarazonica´ with a modern vineyard of 50 hectares of vines.
