Falset, the capital of
the Priorat region, is surrounded by woods, vineyards

of Origin, Priorat and Montsant
In both the D.O.C. Priorat
and the D.O. Montsant, one can visit wineries and small
towns with special charm. In
Falset, the modernist style cooperative, shops specialized
in wine, oil, and groceries can be visited. Once you
have toured the town, the castle, the squares and palaces
of Medinaceli's dukes and Azara's counts, you can
stop to rest and have a nice meal in the restaurant.
El Cairat is a small restaurant,
there are only 19 seats. What matters here is patron
interaction and regional and creative cooking always
with a personal touch.
