Founded en 1970, the winery is located next to the fortified medieval town of Laguardia, being one of the most representative wineries of Rioja Alavesa with its brand Solar de Samaniego. The winery has an aging warehouse with capacity for 5000 barrels, they use American and French oak. With its 91 hectares of vineyards, it makes a wide range of wines, from a young wine to Gran Reserva.
