THE HOUSE

Can Llobet is a typical catalan "casa pairal" house. it is located in the old quarter of the village. It is a XVIII century house that has been completely restored and divided in four rural independent accomodations.

The house is very cosy because of the stone walls, the period furniture and the rafters...

The sorroundings are very welcoming and suitable for relaxing and having fun. L’empordà is also the perfect place to find inspiration like Salvador Dalí, Mossén Cinto Verdaguer , etc did.

The public swimming pool is less than 250 meters away. it is opened during summer.

SUROUNDINGS

Capmany is a small and peacefull village. it has a gorgeous vineyard and olives landscape sorrounded by pines, oaks and holm oaks forests. there are astonishing granitic stones areas. it is possible to find more than 100 tones weight granitic stones. because of all these conditions the regions is fulled of megalitic monuments like dolmens.

Moreover, the are many lakes and swamps where many migratory and indigenous birds live. Both the fortified area and the stoned-built houses give the village a fascinating atmosphere.

Location

Capmany has 500 inhabitants. It is stiuated in the alt empordà region. it is also among albera mountains of the pyrennes and Costa Brava.
The village is very well located because it is just:   

    2 km far away from the Ctra N-II, 10 km far away from the      motorway exit
    13 km far away from France, 15 km far away from Figueres,     25 km far away from the sea and 10 km far away from the     Pyrennes.


ACTIVITIES

In the house: reading, relaxing, watching tv, internet, playing in the garden or in the children area...
In the village:  going for a walk, swimming in the swimming pool, playing football,  going to the gym, playing tennis, visiting wine cellers, trap-shooting, hunting (during the whole year), btt, visiting museums, visiting libraries, playing "petanca", playing basketball…

Outside the village:
In less than 10 km: playing tennis and golf, fishing, ridding a horse, quads, pimball, trekking...
From 10 to 25 km: indoor swimming pool, visiting museums, going to the teather, mountaineering, karting, going to the beach, playing mini-golf, parachuting, ballon, nautical sports, microlight aircraft...
