The Can Bonastre hotel and winery are located in Masquefa, at only 35 km from Barcelona city, in a unique setting at the foot of the Sierra de Montserrat. The Can Bonastre winery has carried out a creative process based on grape-growing and winemaking tradition. The culmination of this process is Can Bonastre Winestyle, an innovative, exclusive concept. Can Bonastre’s main building is a masía (typical manor) from XVI century, which has been restored, respecting
its valuable original elements while giving it a modern, avant-garde air, that exudes elegant sobriety.
Can Bonastre Wine Resort also offers a wide range of leisure activities connected to wine, cultural and gastronomic tourism to complete your stay. You can sign up for guided tours of the winery and vineyards, beginners’ wine tasting courses, cookery courses, wine pairing workshops and helicopter rides or just relax in our reading and quiet rooms, get a massage in our massage booths or take a swim in our indoor swimming pool. You can also take tours of museums, markets and wine routes in the nearby Anoia and Alt Penedés regions, or go and visit Barcelona or Montserrat.

Carme Ruscalleda entrusted him and Esther Bedmar with the opening of her Sant Pau restaurant in Tokyo from where he came to Can Bonastre.

Can Bonastre prioritises quality and treats the entire elaboration process
At Can Bonastre Wine Resort we carry out the entire elaboration process of our wines, caring for every detail within our reach. This symbiosis between man and earth combines the traditional arts of plantation, grape harvest, elaboration and bottling. Our wines are small jewels, result of up to 13 different varieties, combined with taste and originality. So that all palates find their place, we bet on modern and young ranges, like our Pinot Noir 100%, without leaving aside other more classic proposals, like the coupage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Modern premises and a highly qualified and young technical team allowed to obtain the desired results in a limited production of our wines.
The 50 hectares of vineyards on which Can Bonastre wines grow are cared for with the greatest devotion and attention to obtain fruits of the highest quality. For this, Can Bonastre applies the preservation cultivation, based on which oats are planted between the rows of stocks to favour humidity absorption and to reduce the soil and subsoil erosion. Once the grapes are collected and stored in the wine resort, during August and September, the elaboration process of wines starts looking for excellence in every stage. The result are high range wines with surprising aromas and flavours.
