Located in a wonderful small town two hours away from Madrid, Palacio de los Serrano or Serrano Palace, is a genuine charming casa rural, something like a bed and breakfast or a country inn. A precious building in a singular village, the staff is really kind and they always try their best to make sure your stay is perfect. It is a restored neoclassic noble house from XVIII century with monument category. The house has a noble stone facade and the inside full of light where the feeling of comfort and spaciousness are priority.

It has six comfortable and wide rooms with private bathroom. Four of them are double, and two are triple. In the ground floor there are two comforting dining rooms fully equipped with all the stuff you need to have breakfast, or an anytime snack. There are also two meeting rooms and a fabulous garden with benches to rest and relax, and even a well.

This house has a permanent exposition of wooden sculptures, by the local sculptor, Amancio and another one of fossils and minerals, known as one of the best in Castilla-Leon.

The location of Sotillo is perfect to enjoy this region, it´s just about ten miles from Aranda de Duero and two hours from Madrid. It is a village with a strong wine tradition, with the vineyards all around it, and an incredible amount of underground caves. Right now there are four wineries belonging to the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero in the village, that is also known for the elaboration of cheese and morcillas or black sausage.

Here they are really into wine tourism, they can organize a visit to one of the wineries in Sotillo, and they organize in a regular basis activities related to wine, with commented tastes, guided visits to bodegas, and walks around the vineyards. In Sotillo art, history, and culture can be enjoyed, the guided visit to the church and the explanation of the history of the village are offered to everyone that visit the house.
