The Country House "EL MESON" is located on the Travesía de la Estación, number 3, 26330-Briones, La Rioja, in a building that was originally a wine inn
totally remodeled during the year 2000. The house is in the road between Haro and Logroño, a perfect place to explore Rioja Alta. You will be close to Haro, Logroño, Laguardia, Najera, the monasteries, etc. Besides the town of Briones is one of the most beautiful in Rioja, with its church, hermit, square and great views.

The house is surrounded by a large area in which you will find a garden and a small vineyard, with vines representative of all the varieties of grape vines with implantation in La Rioja Alta. A wide and comfortable stairway, constructed in wood and fired clay leads to the first floor, where you can find the reception area, dining room and 7 large bedrooms, each of them with their own full bath. In the large dining-sitting room we find a breakfast bar, tables for the same purpose and a cozy area with sofas facing the fireplace and television, where one can tranquilly spend the last hours of the evening discussing the happenings of the day. All the rooms are carefully furnished with antique furniture, typical of the district, many rescued from the attics and lofts and then patiently and lovingly restored.
In this way each one of the rooms, called by the distinct varieties of vines of La Rioja vineyards, has its own unmistakable personality. The house does not have a restaurant, but they do serve breakfast.
