VINTAGE SPAIN NEWSLETTER. Wine tasting tours in Spain |
|
| TIME
TO RELAX WITH FOOD AND WINE ...
After
the intensity of the harvest tours we have
started a quieter and more relaxed time great
to enjoy the wine and food of Spain. The International
Wine Fair in Madrid takes place in November,
check out our proposals and agenda.
Weather
is warmer in Barcelona and La Mancha, so we
suggest a gastronomic activity
in Barcelona or a visit to a ecological/organic
winery: Dionisios.
We also want to tell you about a great new
book on Spanish wines, The
new Spain by John Radford.
We
know and like the places and establishments
we recommend, this is why we can talk about
them and also why we would appreciate very
much your opinion about them. They are all
very open and friendly with wine lovers and
most are out of the tourist track.

GASTRONOMIC
BARCELONA: COOKING DEMOSTRATION AND LUNCH
IN A PRIVATE HOUSE
A
Spanish friend with a great house in one
of the nicest and most elegant neighborhood
of Barcelona opens her house for special
visitors. After the guided grocery shopping
in one of Barcelona markets, you will go
to the house to attend the cooking demonstration.
The meal then will be served in a very stylish
atmosphere. Uniformed waitresses, fine china
and a small art collection contribute to
the refinement of the occasion.
Our
host, a food, wine and art lover will welcome
us and will share the meal with us.
She
will also show us the art collection and
the house cellar.
