Viejo to customize the Rioja
and Bilbao gourmet wine break to include
the visit to the stunning Juan Alcorta winery
where Campo Viejo is produced. The tour
is similar but in this case it will be focus
in experiencing Campo
Viejo. Highlights:

winery is located on a 200 has estate,
in La Mancha plain, 140 has. are
devoted to viticulture and the rest
is for grain, pasture or leisure.

winery is similar to a typical “cortijo
extremeño” (a vineyard
including land and buildings with
some architectonic characteristics
of that region). Vineyard and cellar
are located in Merida and emerge
under the shadow of a granite mass,
The Lamoneda Mountain Range, at
the foot a deep forest of holm oak,
cork-oak, wild olive tree, briar,
rockrose and other plants…
that together with their balsamic
aromas become a great company to
the wines of the bodega.

de Oleana is an old historic rural
villa. This beautiful building was
once a traditional farm house, for
farmers, their families and staff.
It has been restored to its former
glory to ensure a pleasurable and
comfortable stay, while maintaining
the charming elements of its original
construction, such as solid wooden
beams, wrought iron work and the numerous
balconies and French windows. It has
five rooms and it is rented as a villa.
