WINE
TRADITION AND ONE DAY TOURS
This
month we want to focus in one of the most
traditional destination for wine tourism,
Rioja, with a winery and two hotels in the
area. But we can do a wine tour anywhere in
Spain, so we propose our one
day gourmet wine tours from the
main Spanish cities like Madrid, Barcelona,
Bilbao, San Sebastian or Sevilla.
We have two featured wineries,
one in Rioja region but located in Navarra
Fernández de Manzanos,
and another wonderful one in Penedés
, that makes wine and vinegar, Celler
Avgvstvs Forvm.
We
also have two different hotels in Rioja: hotel
Villa de Laguardia, a modern
hotel in the medieval village of Laguardia
with an excellent restaurant and Hospedería
Señorío de Casalarreina,
a small boutique style charming hotel decorated
with antiques
We

DAY GOURMET WINE EXCURSIONS from Madrid,

If
you don't have a lot of time and you still
want to experience the joy of Spanish wines
we suggest a short one day excursion from
any of the main Spanish cities. We
will pick you up in the morning and be back
in the afternoon or evening. You
will visit one or two wineries with wine
tasting, and you will have a delicious typical
lunch accompanied by the regional wines.
If you have time you can even visit a historical
place. This tour is available for any number
of people, from 2 people to as many as you
want. This tour is perfect for corporate
events.

the land of Don Quijote, or visit a bodega
and vineyards in Toledo
from Madrid, go to wine

CELLER AVGVSTVS FORVM

Cellers
AVGVSTVS FORVM is a little winery
with a lot of history located in
the Penedés wine region (Tarragona).
When they first planted their vines
back in 1983, they discovered what
it used to be the old roman road
between Rome and Cádiz: the
Via Avgvsta, which nowadays gives
the name to their company, wines
and vinegars: Avgvstvs and Forvm.

Finca Manzanos owned by Fernández
de Manzanos family, makes a fresh
start the construction of a wonderful
winery “Chateau” style
in a beautiful estate, placed over
a small hill where it is possible
to see the Ega river join the Ebro
river. From here, one can look at
a lovely panorama of the whole Rioja.
It is worthwhile to visit such a
unique place.
