After three months without publishing our newsletter, we are finally back. We want to apologize for the lack of news, but we have been very busy with tours and improving the structure of our business. we even have new offices that we will be opening very soon so we can receive you better when you come to Spain.

This month we want to dedicate some space to the wine region of Rioja, since we think it is a very attractive destination, as you can see with our tour Wine and Architecture in Rioja. If you want to explore another region, try RONDA, an upcoming wine region, where you can visit the winery Doña Felisa and the restaurant Almocabar. And a classical hotel in Ribera del Duero, Hotel Tudanca.

We have decided to focus more on customized private tours and have less scheduled tours, although we still have our Classical Wines in Rioja and Ribera del Duero in October. All tours are available upon request, you can check our web page.

Wine and Architecture

Wine tours are not only about wine, but also about the beauty of the winery itself. Beautiful buildings, either very modern or very old, are always a point to consider when selecting the wineries one enjoys visiting. Now there are a number of wineries in Rioja that have been designed by famous architects. Probably, Ysios by Santiago Calatrava and Marques de Riscal by Frank Ghery (also Guggenheim's architect) are the most famous ones. But there are more impressive wineries like Baigorri, Juan Alcorta or Viña Real, o the new social area in Viña Tondonia. And not only in Rioja one can find wineries by design, the winery built by Moneo for Chivite in Navarra is also spectacular, as there are the wineries of Legaris or Hacienda Monasterio en Ribera del Duero or Enate in Somontano

And these are only the new ones, but when we look at the Paternina's old cellars in Rioja, Valsotillo's in Ribera, or the caves in Laguardia or Aranda de Duero, we can also admire construction dedicated to wine in the old times. We cannot forget either the traditional great bodegas in Rioja or the ones in Sherry region with its own style, and, of course the modernistic Catalan cavas like Codorniu or Freixenet. They are all worth visiting, admiring and tasting.

We just invite you to come as see for yourselves, to have the privilege of admiring these works of art. Also we remind you that these visits will please almost everybody, wine lovers, and also architecture, design and decoration lovers, artists, history aficionados and, good food and wine enthusiasts.

This tour is perfect for corporate events and incentive trips. Meetings, product presentations, meals etc can be organized in some of these wineries.
