Since
we also need some vacation, we just publish
a summer issue of our newsletter for both
July and August.
If
you are just visiting Spain and you don't
have a lot of time for a wine tour we propose
a One Day Wine Tour
to Ribera del Duero from Madrid.
We offer more one day wine tours,
from MADRID to Ribera del
Duero, Toledo and La Mancha, from BARCELONA
to Penedés, from BILBAO
to Rioja, from SEVILLA to
Jerez, from VALLADOLID to
Ribera del Duero, Toro, etc. You can check
them out in our
web page.
We feature two
wineries from two different wine
regions: Jean León in
Penedés and Viña Mambrilla-Alidis
in Ribera del Duero; the hotel Los
Calaos de Briones in Rioja and
a great restaurant and tapas bar in Burgos,

FEATURED TOUR |

ONE
DAY WINE TOUR TO RIBERA DEL DUERO from
Madrid.
Wine, Art and History
Two
winery visits with wine tasting, traditional
lunch with wine, visit a historical site
in a town protected by a castle, transport
to and from Madrid. (From 9.00 am to 7.00
pm, approximate duration 10h)
We
will always try to combine two different
style wineries, modern with traditional
or small family-owned with larger producers.
We will be given a comprehensive tour of
one of the wineries, visiting the facilities
and being guided through the process and
secrets of wine making, from the grape to
the bottle. After the visits enjoy a well
deserved lunch trying the traditional and
famous roasted lamb of Ribera, perfect companion
for the Ribera wine. Lunch will be a three
course meal with wine and coffee usually
in a winery or traditional restaurant. After
lunch we will enjoy some of the history
of Castilla. See
more information
This
tour can be specially designed for corporate
events.

Middle Ages felt. The hotel is a
hostal rural or bed and breakfast,
located inside the town. It has

TAPAS BAR AND RESTAURANT |
CASA
PANCHO in Burgos
Casa
Pancho is one of the best tapas
and wine bars in Burgos
(tapas are also called pinchos
here). It is very close to
the Plaza Mayor, surrounded by other
tapas bars. Although everything
is very good there, there are some
bar specialties like tigres
(stuffed mussels breaded and
fried), cojunudo/a (a small
quail egg with a piece of sausage
and pimiento on top of bread), etc.
They have a great variety of wines
by the glass. If you want to sit
down there is also an area with
tables. Service is outstanding,
the Perez Terradillos family and
the waiters are extremely nice and
attentive with everybody.
