AND LEISURE PROPOSALS FOR SPRING TIME
Winter
is almost finished and here comes spring time.
In order to receive with pleasure the new
season we offer you a new wine
and yoga program. We also propose
different wine and
food related activities for your time in Madrid:
to make the most of Madrid or just escape
it for a day.Madrid is a wonderful
city to visit this time of the year,
perfect weather, away from the cold of the
winter and the heat of the summer.
This month we feature two
wineries in Rioja, one of the
smallest and the largest in the region,
Bodegas y Viñedos Arranz-Argote
and Viñedos
de Aldeanueva de Ebro. We also
have a very interesting hotel
in Burgos, Hotel Velada, an ancient
palace converted today in a four stars hotel
with an excellent restaurant.
We

WINE
AND YOGA IN RIBERA DEL DUERO (April 11-13)
 Last
year we combined wine and yoga in Rioja
and it was a great experience. So now we
propose you a wine and yoga weekend in Ribera
del Duero. On Saturday morning you will
do a yoga session, either in the garden
or in the inside, depending on the weather.
After your body and your mind are relaxed
and energized, you will visit a spectacular
winery and enjoy a wine tasting. Lunch will
be traditional food in a nice restaurant
(also vegetarian menu). After lunch you
will visit a cheese factory where you could
appreciate the taste of this typical product.
The program will continue on Sunday with
a second yoga session and a guided visit
to the village of Sotillo de la Ribera.

Bodegas
y Viñedos Arranz-Argote is
a very small winery in Rioja owned
by two partners. They elaborate
just one kind of wine called
ARAR made with grapes that
come from vineyards more than 70
years old, inherited from their
ancestors. They combine tradition
with modern techniques and materials
in their winemaking. Their cellar,
in the centre of Navarrete, is an
amazing cave where they keep their

DE ALDEANUEVA S. COOP.
in Aldeanueva (Rioja). DOC Rioja
In
1956, 250 agricultural workers joined
to create Viñedos de Aldeanueva.
Today the winery has 850 partners
who own 2,600 hectares, which is
the 7% of the total production from
the D.O. Ca Rioja. With an average
annual production of 18 million
kg, this is the biggest Rioja-producing
wine cellar and the most important
one in Rioja Baja, just for that
is worth teh visit.More
