This
small restaurant is located truly out of the tourist circuit
in Ronda. Almocabar is still relatively unknown outside
Ronda, so you can still get a table without having to make
reservations weeks in advance. It is located in Plaza San
Francisco, by the city wall entrance. Manuel Arias Jiménez,
the owner, chef, manager and everything else, is a wonderful
person who is basically interested in providing good food
and a good experience for its patrons.
Almocabar
specializes in traditional food with a big touch of innovation.
But Manuel always focus his efforts in excellent food quality,
and all we can say is that everything there was delicious
the day we ate in Almocabar. You better take his advise
with the menu. The wine list is interesting with a number
of local references.
They
have very few tables, so reservations are strongly advised.
