Aldanondo restaurant is located in the Old part of San Sebastian, and they make some of the best coal grilled steaks in Donosti. Although all the dishes are wonderful, steaks are the star of the house, with the special flavor given by the vegetable coal. Fish is very fresh, and starters are delicious and simple: cured ham or jamon, piquillo peppers, asparagus, etc.

Definitively a fantastic restaurant with traditional local cuisine. An excellent alternative in the city of high creative and modern cuisine, and Michelin stars.

The wine list is also simple with good references enough to fulfill the menu needs. Basically: reds from Rioja, roses, whites, and of course txacoli.

Is located in Euskal Herria street, in the old town of San Sebastián, close to the Kursaal congress and conference palace, and next to the Concha beach. Its specialty is coal chargrilled steak, and fish.
